It's the final Thursday of the month, which should trigger your musical appetite for another free SoundDiego LIVE party! This time around, we're taking it to the Hard Rock Hotel's swanky club, 207, where our benevolent sponsors Jack Daniel's will be serving up some complimentary cocktails while you munch on the tasty tray-passed appetizers and let your ears take in some fine music. Our Garage 2 Glory winners, Mothlight, will set the stage early, followed by the dance gems by Okapi Sun and Western Scene. Both acts are fronted by veterans of the music scene who know how to work the mic to awaken any crowd. I was disappointed by the demise of Dynamite Walls, but Tom Pritchard got back to work quickly in forming Western Scene, and they've been honing their craft for more than a year now, making them worthy of their headlining slot.
