We're halfway through the week and it's a great night to catch some music or have a laugh. Soda Bar is perhaps the spot to be as Canadian indie-rockers Current Swell headline the night. Of course, I'm always partial to any show where Jesse LaMonaca is on the bill, since his new career has made his shows fewer and farther between. Swedish jazz musician Gunhild Carling performs at Dizzy's, it's all soul and R&B at House of Blues with Leela James and Daley, and Music Box offers up their stage to a stellar local lineup led by AJ Froman. Seems like a night of cool and casual fun no matter where you turn, so enjoy these warm spring nights with some great live music.
