Sounds Like San Diego: May 26

The New Regime make a play for the Casbah on Tuesday

Memorial Day weekend is behind us, but that doesn't mean there aren't still great things to do nightly in San Diego. On Tuesday, head down to the Casbah to catch incredible musician Ilan Rubin and his project, the New Regime [and read Dustin Lothspeich's interview with the drummer here]. After playing with Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves, among other notable touring acts, this San Diego local shows his chops and skills for crafting music on his own. Elsewhere, Che Cafe is still attempting live music despite impending doom for the storied venue, and Gary Wilson drops by the Hideout, while Soda Bar hosts Main Attrakionz.
