Sounds Like San Diego: May 22

The Head and the Heart play in the evening mist at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre

Yesterday, I said that the city was going to slow down a little, but it certainly isn't gonna stop completely, which means you have some really, really good Tuesday night concert options. One of my favorites indie bands, the Head and the Heart, play in the evening mist at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre along with Grouplove and Mt. Joy, while at the Observatory you can behold the experimental ambient collective of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. At the Casbah, catch the return of Geographer or Here Lies Man, featuring Marcos Garcia of Antibalas, mixing "sounds of Black Sabbath and Afrobeat." You can always keep it local with Pyles over at the Merrow, but whatever you choose, it is a solid night of blissful music.
