Sounds Like San Diego: May 17

Even though I was a wee child when "I Melt With You" was released, that didn't stop it from being a staple on college radio and alternative stations throughout my youth and even into my adulthood. The fact that Modern English are playing the Hideout is so supercool that I can't think of a better way to spend a Tuesday night. If you come to find the show sold out (at press time there are just a handful of tickets left), catch a free Tiki Tuesday at Bar Pink with Alvino & the Dwells, or check out Tech N9ne on the mic at the Observatory, or the Sweeplings sweet folk-pop sensibilities at the Soda Bar.
