Hot Snakes headline the Observatory North Park Friday.

San Diego music fans and musicians alike are all about Hot Snakes (read the SoundDiego interview with Swami John Reis here). When they recently played the Casbah, social media feeds were filled with people either declaring it the "best show ever" or lamenting that they didn't get tickets. They released their new album, "Jericho Sirens," to rave reviews and dudes declaring it's the only record you need in 2018. Tonight, the band is back with a show at Observatory North Park and there may still be tickets available, so get your tickets and then can we chill on the fanboy love for a second? I mean, there are other shows, like the amazing Sparta, who are playing a sold-out show at Soda Bar, or Tech N9ne who performs at House of Blues. You can also keep it local with the Midnight Pine and Jake Najor's new project; or pop lovers can head to Mattress Firm Amphitheatre for Channel 933's Summer Kickoff. It's going to be a super awesome night for music in San Diego, so be ready to rock out -- then rest up to do it all over again.
