Sounds Like San Diego: May 11

It's been a lovely week thus far, and now that we're at hump day, it's really time to turn it up a few notches. Unfortunately, Wilde Belle has long been sold out at the Casbah, but you can still catch super fun shows around town like Jenny & the Mexicats at Music Box or a free night with Taurus Authority at Bar Pink. Get some local black metal with Empty Gods at Soda Bar, some guitar education with Andy McKee at the Belly Up or IAMSU! in their return to the Observatory. All of these will be great, but my money is on Carah Faye at Quartyard. The Shiny Toy Guns alum playing in one of the coolest urban venues with the weather we've been having? Consider it well worth the 15 bucks.
