See You Later, Gator

The huge Gator By the Bay festival has something for everyone today

It's Mother's Day and while maybe that means taking mom to brunch or buying flowers, we think she'd love to be taken to the annual Gator By the Bay festival. There are few things better than soaking up the sun and bouncing around the stages at Spanish Landing, and with all of the great cajun, zydeco, and blues music lined up -- there's really something for everyone to love. For those of you with two left feet who don't quite know how to move on the marley, there are always dance lessons too. By night, you can reward yourself for being such a great kid with the Wild Wild Wets at Soda Bar, Prayers at Casbah or Thundercat at the Irenic.
