Carney at the Casbah

Mark my words: You do not want to miss Carney. And when you see Carney, you won't soon forget them. Vocalist Reeve Carney has been named "one of the 10 rising stars to watch in 2010" by Entertainment Weekly, and Bono and the Edge agree. After an audition in front of the U2 pair, he was chosen to play the Peter Parker role in the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Spiderman. While the band is fresh and not without their kinks to work through, their performance at the Casbah earlier this year proved that a vocal performance can be described as"cinematic" without projections, visualizations or, especially, irony.
