Tonight is a massive night at the Casbah as Hot Snakes play a show that sold out in mere minutes. Over the past few months, the local legends have released singles leading up to a new album ("Jericho Sirens") and no doubt this hometown show is super special for both the band and audience alike. It is completely sold out, however, so if you don't have tickets, it would be an amazing night to head to Bar Pink where Jake Najor & the Moment of Truth make their live debut. Jake has been the drummer being far too many amazing local and national bands to name, but he decided to strike out on his own and make a record, which unsurprisingly is being released by the Redwoods Music collective, of which he is a key member. He'll be joined by Smoota and it should be awesome. Around town, legend Herbie Hancock plays Balboa Theatre, Of Mice & Men play SOMA, and Belly Up has a sold-out show with blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
