Sounds Like San Diego: March 6

The Shins sell out consecutive nights at the Observatory

I've been excited about today for quite some time. It feels like forever since the Shins have toured, so to get them two nights at the Observatory is definitely a coup for San Diego and challenges the idea that "all of the good shows skip San Diego." Of course, both shows are sold out, so if you didn't grab tickets, you'll be suffering some serious FOMO tonight. Fortunately, there are other shows this Monday night to quench your music thirst. At the Casbah, catch the Dead Ships, a garage rock trio who were LA's best band of 2016 according to LA Weekly. Meanwhile, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will have the crowd swinging at Belly Up, Chase Rice brings country to the House of Blues, and the New Division play Blonde.
