Sounds Like San Diego: March 4

There's a lot going on in town on Tuesday, so whether you're seeking the madness of Mardi Gras or just some live music without the beads, this evening promises to be a great night. The annual Gaslamp party will take over downtown streets, so head down early to find a place along the parade route or dodge the area if you don't want to get stuck on the wrong side of the parade. Musically, the Mattson 2 have a somewhat regular gig at El Dorado, the Casbah presents a rare night of hip-hop, and Mr. Elevator and the Brain Hotel join some great locals over at Soda Bar. One of Donald Glover's triple-threat talents will shine at his live show at Open Air Theatre. Along with his standup and acting careers, he's also the rapper Childish Gambino. Last but not least, the Wild Feathers perform at the Belly Up, and I especially recommend getting there early to catch Jamestown Revival, which is made up of incredible live performers.
