Sounds Like San Diego: March 26

Jake Bugg used to pack small record stores; now, he's packing Observatory North Park

It's always awesome to feel connected to an artist from the beginning. Do you recall just a couple of short years ago when Jake Bugg was playing an in-store at M-Theory and it ended up being more of an out-store? It was packed from the sidewalk to the fire station. Despite the crowd, everyone stayed for the short but sweet set. Tonight, Jake Bugg returns to San Diego with a show at the Observatory, and supposing our notoriously talkative audiences can keep it down, it promises to be an incredible night of music. Just down the street, it's time for another Office Under Cover, and for the first time ever, it will be all women vocalists taking on Blondie. At the Casbah, Nick Bone plays his cowpunk to a local night and instrumental act Butcher Brown headlines Soda Bar.
