It is a super great Saturday full of music. I know many of you will be bummed that Durand Jones is already sold out at Soda Bar, but other choices should be just as awesome. The up-and-coming Brit L.A. Salami, for one, makes his Casbah debut, and you can be confident this will go down as one of those "I remember when" shows. Fader describes Manchester's Pale Waves as "the goth pop hybrid you didn't know you needed," and you can catch them at Soma Sidestage for an all-ages performance. The Super Buffet curated festival continues at Salty Frog in IB, and booty-shaking singer-songwriter Brett Dennen plays his first of two nights at the Belly Up. If you feel like getting funky for a good cause, don your favorite '70s gear and head to the Port Pavilion for the Mustache Bash, which benefits Plastic Tides, a non-profit "dedicated to reducing the impact of plastic and petroleum on the environment."
