Sounds Like San Diego: March 23

Jake Shimabukuro, the Ting Tings and the Last Bison are your excuses to get up and get out on Monday

Monday certainly does not suck. The Ting Tings are playing an all-ages show at the House of Blues, and whether you've followed their career since their debut or not, they always put on an energetic and fun show. Meanwhile, Jake Shimabukuro, who comes through town two to four times a year now, performs two sold-out shows at the Belly Up. While that might be disappointing to someone looking for a ticket, as a person who wants to see more support for live music, I'm proud to see two Monday night performances sold out so far in advance. Lastly, at Casbah we have the Last Bison. Formerly just Bison, the Virginia band does indie-folk music, and they do it well. This one is definitely a good one not to miss.
