From Chile, With Love

Ana Tijoux brings her political rap to the Casbah Sunday night

There are a couple big shows in town tonight, including Lady Antebellum's massive country production at Sleep Train Amphitheatre and John Legend's stripped down performance at Balboa Theatre, but around here, we're excited for the return of Ana Tijoux to the Casbah. The Chilean-born artist expresses her strong political point of view in her music that leans toward rap, sometimes drawing comparisons to Erykah Badu. Always interesting to audiences, this show should definitely be on your radio. If you want to keep it indie, the pretty sounds of London Grammar appear at the House of Blues
