It's going to be a really busy week as we get flooded by SxSW bands (check out SoundDiego's own coverage right here), but for tonight, head to the Casbah to keep it local with another edition of DJ Artistic's Hip-Hop Battle Bot. If you're looking for more live hip-hop, head to the Merrow to catch 2018 San Diego Music Award winners 10-19 (for Best Hip-Hop/Rap Album), Jumbotron (Best New Artist) and Album of the Year/Artist of the Year nominee the Parker Meridien. If you're looking for hard rock, check out Minneapolis-based Cold Kingdom at 710 Beach Club, or for a zen-night of consciousness music, catch DTO and Kiyoshi for their album releases at the Belly Up.
