Sounds Like San Diego: March 19

Like many in the San Diego music community and beyond, I'm back from an exciting but exhausting week at South by Southwest. The good times don't have to end just yet, and for those of you who didn't go, you can still reap the benefits this week as many bands that made appearances in Austin will be touring our way. Monday night, local boys Transfer make a stop back home as their tour with the Kaiser Chiefs picks up at the Belly Up. There are also good lineups at Soda Bar, Tin Can, and even a rare Monday night show at the Tower Bar, all worth checking out. Don't rule out your regular Monday music provider, as Anti-Monday League at the Casbah features a SoundDiego favorite, East of Sweden, at the top of a solid local bill. There are always at least a couple of great shows on Mondays -- tonight just happens to be one that is especially impressive.
