Friday is finally here and, with it, comes dozens of great ways to spend your night. Larry & His Flask perform with Texan Scott H. Biram for some whiskey-soaked tunes at the Casbah, while the Gods of Science take over Soda Bar. The MacAnanys perform tonight at the Griffin (instead of last night, as I mistakenly wrote yesterday). Common Sense have been playing for the beach crowd for more than two decades and tonight return to their home base of the Belly Up, and the Dixie-inspired Euphoria Brass Band appear at Bar Pink. The Hideout is in the mix with a solid lineup and the Irenic hosts a stellar lineup of singer-songwriters. Even the steampunks have a place tonight, as Steam Powered Giraffe celebrate an album release at Four Points Sheraton. Lots to do and lots to hear in San Diego tonight, for sure.
