Next week, the music portion of SxSW kicks off, so if you reverse the math and figure that there are half-dozen or so tour-worthy stops between here and Austin, it makes sense that Friday is absolutely nuts with music. The always amazing Twin Shadow returns to the Belly Up, and one of my favorites, the Twilight Sad, perform at the Merrow. We already highlighted Colin Hay, who will be at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, and 2:54 get in on the live-music action with a show at the Hideout. I could go on and on, but you can see the list and decide for yourself where you want to be. Just don't burn out the weekend flame in one go, because Saturday and Sunday offer up some incredible choices, too!
