I know I'm not the only one who's especially excited about Saturday's Japandroids show at the Music Box. The band has been to town a couple times before and even though their recorded music is really, really good, it barely scratches the surface for how energetic and incredible they are live. If you've yet to see them, this is your chance to see your new favorite band. It's not the only worthy show in town, however: G. Love kicks off the first of two nights at the Belly Up with a sold-out crowd, and Big Sandy is at the Casbah for all you rockabilly lovers out there. You can kick off the San Diego Music Awards Week celebration with an event at the Karl Strauss Tasting Room & Beer Garden in Pacific Beach. It's a great weekend to see live music
