Sounds Like San Diego: March 10

Roar with Howlin' Rain at Casbah on Tuesday

There are some really great shows happening in town that it makes it hard to believe it's only a Tuesday. Three excellent singer/songwriters -- whose songs are often sought by music supervisors because their narratives fit so well with television and film -- perform a sold-out show at Belly Up. This will be extra special because we're told that Joshua Radin, Rachael Yamagata and Cary Brothers will have some songs together in Tuesday night's set. Meanwhile, Walk the Moon and the Griswolds perform to a sold-out crowd at House of Blues. If you're looking for a show you can get into without a previously purchased ticket, try Howlin' Rain at the Casbah; Hey, Rosetta! at Soda Bar or a storyteller night with Ryan Cabrera at House of Blues on the Voodoo Stage.
