Sounds Like San Diego: March 10

Fans will turn out Sunday for Singer/songwriter Joshua James at Soda Bar

On days like today, I have to keep it together even if what I really want to do is just gush about an artist. One of my favorite singer/songwriters is returning to San Diego. His name is Joshua James, and to me, he's one of the best musicians I've experienced live. Last year when he performed, the band blew a fuse and continued performing, lit only by mobile phones until the power was restored. Sunday's performance is a matinee, so even if they blow a fuse, there might be light. Every performance has seen his audience grow and agree that he's not to be missed. The show will be over early enough to get to the Casbah if you're a ticketholder to the sold-out performance by the Silent Comedy. What a perfect Sunday double-header.
