There are plenty of good shows happening Thursday around San Diego but if I can convince you that there is one show this week that stands above all others, it's Cayucas at the Casbah. Their music has earned steady spins via the blogosphere and Sirius XMU but, it's their live show you need to see. The band came through town earlier this year with Ra Ra Riot with a well received high energy set that even got my flat feet dancing -- I don't experience things like that often. It once happened when I saw Imagine Dragons and Oberhofer play. Cayucas is going to be a really great show so make every effort to be there. To persuade you further, JBM is incredible and have just came off a tour with Cloud Cult. The D/Wolves are all grown up (now all over the age of 21) performing under their new name, Champ. I'll see you there!
