Growing Pains of Being Pure at Heart

Did you vote today? There are some tough choices out there, but you can reward yourself for participating in the system by participating in the scene. Tuesday night has some great options, starting off with another free show at the Hard Rock Hotel. Brought to you by Filter Magazine and the Hard Rock Hotel, the free monthly Soundcheck series has been bringing some great indie bands who might otherwise skip our city on their tours were it not for this series. With the Pains of Being Pure at Heart and Violens performing, this night is sure to be a hit. You have to RSVP; I would recommend getting there early because the line can get pretty crazy. If that doesn't suit your fancy, A Place to Bury Strangers and This Will Destroy You pair up for a great night at the wwwww.casbahmusic.com. Interesting band names aside, you're certainly in for a treat regardless of which show you choose.
