Like most nights in San Diego, you've got a lot to choose from. The Whistle Stop features some great local bands for the monthly Commune Wednesday. The event promotes local music and art while subtly spreading an anti-tobacco message. At the Casbah, post-punk band Red Sparrowes return before playing a handful of European summer festivals. Sarah Jarosz is surely going to sound incredible at Anthology, and up at the San Diego County Fair, you really can't go wrong with the Beach Boys.
