Tonight is chockful of incredible music all over town. The Belly Up is going to be the place to be, but the Okkervil River show is sold out, so if you're without a ticket, how about the amazing Smiths cover band, Sweet and Tender Hooligans, at the Casbah? The Fleshtones will be going bonkers over at Bar Pink, Grand Tarantula will shred the Whistle Stop, and Hong Kong Fuzz should fill the tiny Tin Can. If you're feeling adventurous, check out my friend Ted Washington of Pruitt Igoe at Voz Alta in Barrio Logan for some conscious music. There are plenty of choices to build a solid hangover that can be remedied by tomorrow's Ocean Beach Chili Cookoff.
