It is a very full weekend of music in San Diego. From the Waterfront Park's reggae-heavy lineup at Beer X to the OB Street Fair and Chili Cookoff, which also leans reggae-heavy but offers up a variety of options along Newport and at the various clubs, to the Sherman Heights Music Festival with Latino influenced bands. By nightfall, catch our favorite masked men as the Creepy Creeps play the Casbah, or get your groove on when Jungle Fire perform at Soda Bar. Jam band Trampled by Turtles is back in town with a show at Humphreys, and Magic 92.5 is bringing a grip of '90s R&B acts to their Summer Jam at Valley View Casino Center. It's going to be a scorcher today, but embrace the San Diego summer and let the music take over.
