Summer is officially here after yesterday's solstice, and I don't know about you, but I'm ready to toss back a cold brew while checking out some awesome music. At the Casbah, punky-dance band !!! are back in town, and while I'm happy about that, I'm really glad Sego is back (for the third time this year!) as a support act on the bill. Meanwhile, things tend to get crazy when Black Lips are in town, so if you're in the mood for an unpredictable and wild show, head to the Belly Up tonight. Girlpool play a headlining all ages show at the Irenic, and Cracker play the Green Flash concert series. If you're at the fair, stick around for beloved locals Switchfoot playing on the Grandstand.
