It was so great having a midweek holiday because you blink, and it's already the weekend! I'll be spending mine with the Donkeys at the Casbah. Their shows are always a great time, they always bring something new and sunny to their sound, and they nearly always sell out -- so don't wait to get tickets if you want to see them. If you're looking for a big night out, Primus and Mastodon will bring the rock to your world at the Open Air Theatre, or see Metalachi as they break into North County with a show at the Belly Up. Meanwhile, Deadheads are prepping their goods and wares for Dead & Company at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre. This weekend is gonna be a scorcher, literally and metaphorically, so keep cool, and get out and have some fun.
