Sounds Like San Diego: July 6

Local post punk band Big Bad Buffalo headline the Che Cafe tonight

From the worn looks on everyone's faces last night, I'd say San Diego certainly knows how to go big for Independence Day. The weekend isn't over, however, especially for all the service industry workers who had to take care of all the revelers, so enjoy your Sunday. Today is the final day of the San Diego County Fair, Def Leppard and Kiss co-headline at Sleep Train Amphitheatre, and Crocodiles DJ at Whistle Stop. Still, the pick of the night has to be Big Bad Buffalo at Che Cafe. The band is made up of super talented high school kids, and I happen to know that they used all the internet resources available to them to book a full west coast tour, accounting for venues and places to crash. When I was 15, I certainly wasn't plotting California domination, so come support the boys as they set out on what could be their coming of age tale.
