I love my indie rock, and you know I'm always a cheerleader for that world, but sometimes you just want rock & roll, and on Saturday, you'll get just that when you head to the Casbah for the Oblivians. The band was well known in the '90s for their bluesy garage vibe, and they're bringing it back again for a resurrection of sorts. Joined by Octa#Grape and Shake Before Us, and the Kabbs in the Atari Lounge, you'll get all the rock you need this weekend. Around town, Tiny Telephones stir it up at Soda Bar, Devin the Dude headlines at Porter's Pub, and my buddies the Paper Thins perform at the Ken Club.
