Sounds Like San Diego: July 30

Normally I'd tell you about all of the great things happening tonight, and there are certainly more than a few, but today I think you should get your music fix during the light of day. Head down to 32nd and Redwood, right about where North Park starts to blur with South Park, and visit the Miller family, who are hosting their sixth year of Alex's Lemonade Stand. Named after Alexandra Scott, who was diagnosed with cancer before she was a year old, Alex's Lemonade Stand seeks to raise money for pediatric cancer research and helps families with expenses. The national organization has raised more than $45 million, and locally, the Millers' lemonade stand has made over $37,000. Today you can drop by, catch a live radio broadcast with FM 94/9 and live music from Brian Holwerda of the Blackout Party, Jesse LaMonaca and Noel Jordan.
