We had a blast at our SoundDiego show last night. But if you are still in the mood for some music, Saturday is what it's all about. Tonight at the Casbah, we have an all local all-star tribute to the late great Roky Erickson, who passed earlier this year and left a huge impact on music in general. The Belly Up has the first of two nights with legendary punk band X, while Soda Bar gets an all female Sabbath tribute with Black Sabbitch. You can never go wrong with the Widows at the Tower Bar, or catch Midland at the Del Mar summer concert series after the races. There's a ton to see and do today and tonight. Let's enjoy the summer while we've got it and remember why we love San Diego so much this time of year.
