Since the 1975 show is sold-out, our recommendation is head to the racetrack for the day. The sound of the ponies rounding the track is beautiful, their grace is amazing, and after the final race, you can see a SoundDiego favorite, Fitz & the Tantrums. The band is riding high on their latest full-length and have been loyal to San Diego from the beginning. There are a slew of great bands to see at the Del Mar Summer Concert Series for the summer, but this just might be the best one. Jump on the Coaster to get there and since it ends early enough you can head to Soda Bar to see Swim Party ressurect -- another thing not worth missing.
