There are so many good shows on Thursday, it's hard to just recommend one or two, so let's run down the list. Starting at the Casbah, you have Austin's Alpha Rev, who are probably best known for their song "New Morning" and the album by the same name, so seeing them in this unplugged show should be something pretty special. Meanwhile, old-school punk takes over the Belly Up, with the Adolescents and Weirdos, though San Diego's own Creepy Creeps might outshine them both. Stcky Fingers join our friends Social Club and Taurus Authority at Soda Bar, and Tour Worthy has a local showcase at the Merrow with Le Chateau in the headlining slot. For something a little different, head down to Winston's to catch Karikatura and Afrojazziacs.
