Last year was a very good one for Sean Watkins. Between his solo projects, getting Nickel Creek back together for a tour and album, and all his projects on the horizon, it would appear that 2015 will be a great year for the singer/songwriter as well. Hang out with him and opener Lauren Shera at the Casbah on Thursday. Meanwhile, it's an all-out dance party at the Irenic with Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic -- and this one is all-ages, so you can still get home by 10:30 p.m. Rapper Too Short appears at Porter's Pub, Seven Grand hosts a special showcase, and Daniel Crawford will make it easy to cry in your whisky at Sycamore Den.
