Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 27

One of today's most innovative artists headlines Observatory North Park

There's a super amazing cross-border concert happening today down at International Friendship Park. Presented by San Diego Symphony, there will be percussive instruments playing on both sides of the fence. The event is free, but it is a hike, so plan accordingly. By nightfall, I'm super excited that St. Vincent is back in town for her first time in three years. Her latest record is amazing and she's proven herself to be one of the most innovative artists touring today. Of course, this show sold out weeks ago, so if you didn't grab your tickets, consider checking out Twin Ritual's EP release at Soda Bar, Sights and Sages at Casbah or Tesuque and Marujah at Ken Club.
