Won't Be Anything Silent About It

I recommended last night's show at the Casbah featuring Transfer and the Silent Comedy, but if you waited to buy tickets, the show was sold out. Fortunately, the bands perform again tonight with the Silent Comdey taking the late slot this time around. It's a good opportunity for those of you who work in the service industry to catch a great Monday night show, and to sweeten the deal, Dead Feather Moon is opening, just in case you missed them on Saturday at the Griffin. Three of San Diego's best all in one night sounds like the perfect Anti-Monday League to me, even if the rain sticks around.

    Monday, Jan. 16:

    • Anti-Monday League presents the Silent Comedy, Transfer, Dead Feather Moon @ Casbah
    • Clouds on Strings, Secret Fun Club, California Bleeding @ Soda Bar
    • Branes, Erleen Nada, Aaimon @ Tin Can
    • Monday Mass, with DJs Buddha and Duse @ Bar Pink
    • Dirty Mondays, with DJ Gabe Vega @ The Saloon
    • Midnight Oil Acoustic Series, with Korrie Paliotto, Robby Lester @ Ruby Room
    • Missy Andersen @ Humphreys Backstage Live
    • Open Mic @ Lestat's
    • Mellow Mondays, featuring DJ Mello D @ House of Blues Voodoo Stage
    • Dave Scott & Monsoon Jazz @ Croce's
    • Whitney Shay & the Shakedowns @ Patrick's Gaslamp Pub
    • Kyle Sorrell @ Tiki House
    • Bosen and Suede @ Eleven
