Sounds Like San Diego: Jan.14

I know it's tough when a really good show such as Pinback at the Casbah is already sold out by the time you read this, but the good news is that you can catch a great up-and-coming indie act, yhe Lonely Wild, over at Soda Bar. The L.A.-based quintet is doing a Tuesday night residency for the month, and the first one was pretty great from what I hear. With Low Volts and the Palace Ballroom along for the bill, one can deduce that the band is being groomed for radio and much bigger shows in the future. Catch them while they're on the rise.
