Sounds Like San Diego: February 7

The Wind and the Wave return to town to quench your soul

I know we're only halfway through the week, but sometimes exhaustion just comes right in and can weigh down the rest of the week. Fortunately, some emotionally satisfying and soul-quenching talents are in town tonight to give you an extra boost. At the Casbah, catch Austin act the Wind and the Wave, whose deeply penetrating first record -- 2014's "The Wreckage" -- grew them legions of fans and extra exciting is that tonight's show is their tour kickoff. Meanwhile, Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape is back in town to tell some tales at Soda Bar, and Lights should have everyone moving when she performs at the Observatory. Whatever show you might choose, it's certainly a good night to take advantage of our bustling scene.
