Step Into Dr. Dog's “Void”

It has been nearly a year since Dr. Dog has performed in San Diego, and unfortunately, if you don't already have tickets, the show is sold out. This should come as no surprise, however, because today also celebrates the release of their record, Be the Void, which I suspect you've already listened to and memorized, whether through the legal streams on NPR and Spotify or some other illicit fashion. Your backup plans for the night aren't too bad, however, with the Henry Clay People returning to the Casbah for their monthly habit, Indian Jewelry at Soda Bar, and Mattson 2 and Red Fox Tails bringing their surf-influenced California jazz back to El Dorado.
