Sounds Like San Diego: Feb. 25

If you've been laying low on Tuesdays and haven't yet seen Mother Falcon during their residency at Soda Bar, Tuesday will be your final chance to catch them in all of their glory. If I counted correctly, 12 incredible musicians crowd the stage for their symphonic pop, with horns and violins and keys and drums and guitars all playing dramatic lines that blend into a cacophonous soundscape. If you appreciate bands like Arcade Fire or Other Lives, or even Bon Iver, you'll appreciate the style of Mother Falcon. Around town, Kodaline performs a sold-out show at the Casbah, Electrician plays a free in-store at M-Theory followed by a show at the Che Cafe, and Animal Eyes blow up the Tin Can.
