Sounds Like San Diego: February 2

Black Violin, who you might've heard in the "Pitch" TV show, head to San Diego Thursday

The music scene is often quite generous, and tonight Black Violin is surely going to deliver an exciting show, but the newsworthy part is that the duo will also be doing a special performance for some select area students to bring art outreach to the community. The band, who play upwards of 200 shows a year and has opened for a ton of artists, can also be heard in the San Diego-based scripted TV show, "Pitch." It sounds like they're quite the spectacle, so get up to California Center for the Arts, Escondido for something a little out of the ordinary. Meanwhile, our lovely scene plugs along, with the Bassics at Casbah, the "psychedelic bluegrass" of Montana's Kitchen Dwellers at Soda bar and "instrumental electronic jam band" Lotus at the Belly Up.
