There's so much great music to look forward to on Wednesday and all through the weekend. Sunset Sessions returns, which means music-industry panels and keynote speakers by day and live performances at the Belly Up by night, with a limited amount of tickets available to the general public. Unfortunately, Wednesday's appearance by Ziggy Marley is already sold out, but there are other sessions to catch throughout the week. Yuna is back in town at the Casbah, and uke virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro is at the Balboa Theatre, but those are sold out, too. Don't let sold-out shows get you down -- it actually shows us that San Diego's music support is picking up, and it's a lesson in planning ahead. But, if you didn't (plan ahead, that is), rock out with Ringo Deathstar, Purple, and Buddy Banter at Soda Bar.
