It's Steve Poltz's third annual 50th birthday party at the Belly Up and along with Bob Schneider and Sara Petite on the bill, I've been hearing that there are plenty of special guests lined up for the night, including a possible appearance by former San Diegan, Anya Marina. Whatever happens, you know that Steve Poltz shenanigans are always going to bring a good time, especially at this annual Rugburns reunion. Around town, Craig Finn of the Hold Steady performs at the Casbah, G. Love is at the House of Blues, and The Griffin has a Sunset Sessions showcase that is definitely worth checking out.
