I can usually weasel my way into shows that I really want to see, but no such luck on tonight's very sold-out Caifanes show. Tickets went fast for this legendary rock en Espanol band as they typically play much larger venues. It will certainly be a special night for the fans who scored tickets. Meanwhile, Casbah hosts Oakland weirdos and genre-benders the Phenomenauts, and the beautiful singer/songwriter David Dondero returns to Soda Bar. For those of you who have a day off tomorrow, you'd probably do well to pull a late nighter at Blonde for Bikini Trill.
