Today just might be the busiest of the holiday season for many, as frenzied shoppers try and knock out their list and meet shipping deadlines, but why go to the mall when you can have fun while shopping, like at Vinyl Junkies Record Swap at the Casbah or at Makers Arcade Holiday Fair at the Port Pavilion? Then when you've exhausted yourself, head to Valley View Casino Center for this year's Wrex the Halls with the Lumineers headlining and dreamboats War on Drugs playing earlier in the night. That is, if you aren't already holding tickets to the sold out Phoenix show at the Observatory. Or, if you're looking for something significantly more punk rock, the Casbah has the return of Adolescents. To round things out, alt-rockers Slothrust are playing Space, soul-singer Jamila Woods performs at Soda Bar and Harvard Bass gets down at Blonde.
