Sounds Like San Diego: December 3

Paul Banks' name might not ring a bell to the general public, but fans of Interpol know he is the main voice behind the band. He's also recorded under the name Julian Plenti (Julian is his middle name). In his latest effort, Banks, recorded under his full name, his distinct voice is familiar but the record proves he's still at the top of his game. On Monday you can catch him live at the House of Blues with the support of British band the Neighbourhood, who have taken up residency in L.A. Monday also sees the return of Hot Snakes and Night Marchers at the Casbah, but if you don't have tickets, there's little chance of finding one from the rabid fans of the John Reis projects.
