If you had to check out tonight's lineup, you might think you're getting an early New Year's Eve. Legendary act the Greyboy Allstars return to the Belly Up which will certainly be a dance party, while Get Back Loretta headlines with a slew of local acts at the Casbah for a down home party night. The highlight tonight, however, has to be at Soda Bar for a band calling themselves Hideout (I know, so confusing, right?) Featuring Cory Stier and Gabe Rodriguez, these members of Cults had been writing and recording over the course of a couple years and they just released a record on Thrill Me Records. This is going to be a band to watch for sure, just based on the sheer talent of these musicians and their numerous other projects. Still, wherever you go, this weekend either rounds out a killer year of music or it is casting good fortune on the musical year to come.
